Yes. AMAC runs planned maintenance contracts with scheduled servicing, live compliance reporting and reactive cover. Most commercial clients run an annual PPM schedule, and contracts are available on systems we didn't originally install, subject to a condition survey.

A typical domestic install takes one to three days. Commercial fit-outs range from a couple of weeks to several months depending on scope, access and whether the building stays operational during the works.

Most domestic and commercial installs fall under permitted development. Listed buildings, conservation areas and some commercial leases have extra requirements, and we check this as part of every survey rather than leaving it with you.

A split system cools one or two rooms from a single outdoor unit. VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) scales that up, so one outdoor unit can serve dozens of indoor units independently — different rooms can heat and cool at the same time, which is why it suits larger or multi-tenant buildings.

Modern indoor units run as low as 19dB in quiet mode, which is quieter than most fridges. Outdoor unit noise depends on the model and is factored into positioning, particularly near boundaries and bedroom windows.
